Charles Nicholson bouwde dit orgel in 1871 voor de  Saint Thomas Wesleyan Church in Glasgow. Door Mirrlees werd het in 1893 overgeplaatst naar de kerk van Millport (Buteshire). De kerk werd gesloten in 2016.

Na restauratie en uitbreiding is het geplaatst in de Y Kirken in Holmestrand (Vestfold og Telemark), Noorwegen. Daar werd het geplaatst achter een bestaand front. In 2021 is het orgel in gebruik genomen.
